PENtastic Startup Month 2026 is a collective initiative led by movers, shakers, and leaders from organisations, groups, and individuals shaping Penang’s startup ecosystem. It provides a platform for participants to independently organise and host their own startup-related activities — from meetups, coffee sessions, and networking events, to conferences, summits, exhibitions, living labs, and more — all within the month of November.
The goals of PENtastic Startup Month 2026 are to:

Create an international profile for Penang as a startup hub — positioning the state as a destination for innovation, investment, and collaboration.
Excite the startup community — bringing together founders, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders to co-innovate, discuss, and network for growth.
PENtastic Startup Month 2026 welcomes startups, founders, enablers, corporates, educators, and ecosystem partners who are building beyond boundaries — of industry, market, geography, or mindset.
From pitching sessions, workshops, panels, and showcases to community-driven initiatives, sweatworking experiences that blend fitness and networking, founder meetups, learning labs, and experimental formats, we invite diverse programme ideas that spark connection, exchange, and action.
All proposed programmes must be physically held in Penang, contributing to the vibrancy of the local ecosystem while connecting participants to regional and global perspectives.
